No, this is not a costume party. As much as we appreciate a good vampire, witch, or skeleton moment, we'd kindly ask you to save those looks for another year! Dress code: Dress up, feel good, and come ready to dance. Caftans, long dresses, sharp suits, tuxedos, this is your moment. There is no color palette to follow, so wear whatever color makes you happy. The only request? Please leave the full white looks to the bride 🤍 Most importantly, wear something you can dance in, because we're fully planning on keeping the dance floor busy!

MARRAKECH MENARA AIRPORT (RAK)This is where you want to land, easiest option!There are plenty of direct flights from Europe, Canada, the US and the Middle East, so you should be well covered. From the airport, it’s about 15–20 minutes to most places in the city. Taxis are easy to find, just agree on the price before getting in and always ask them to put the fare counter on! And if someone tries charging you a random amount… congratulations, you’ve officially entered tourist mode. We say this with love: don’t let them scam you ❤️ CASABLANCA MOHAMMED V INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CMN)Also an option if needed, but about 2.5–3 hours from Marrakech by car. You can either take a train, book a private transfer, or turn it into a mini road trip if you’re feeling adventurous.

Grand Taxi (White taxis) These are the ones you'll probably use most during your stay.‣ Available everywhere in the city‣ Affordable and convenient‣ Maximum 3 passengers per taxi‣ Perfect for restaurants, cafés, shopping, and getting around Marrakech‣ Always ask the driver to turn on the fare meter ("compteur"), and you'll be just fine.

Very easy, very useful, and great if you'd rather skip the taxi negotiations.Download the apps before your trip, you'll thank us later. 🚗 Renting a carIf you're planning to explore beyond Marrakech, this is probably the easiest option. Getting there

Marrakech has no shortage of beautiful places to stay, but if you'd like to be close to the wedding venue (and avoid long rides home after a night of dancing), we've arranged preferential rates with a lovely property nearby. Please note that is not central, it's 20 minutes away from the center of Marrakech - ideal for the wedding night, but maybe not ideal for a Marrakech stay!Simply mention "Yasmine &amp; Daoud - October" when booking to enjoy special rates (do not book directly through their websites. Marrakech is one of those places where you can plan everything… or absolutely nothing and still end up having the best time. Honestly, Tiktok might be your best travel guide here. Even as a Marrakchia, that's how I organize half my trips. There are way too many hidden gems to list on a wedding website, so I've done the next best thing: I've shared my personal Google Maps list with some of my favorite cafés, restaurants, rooftops, day trips, and spots around Marrakech. I've also added my own notes and comments throughout the list, so you'll know when, why, and what I love about each place. We're obviously biased, but we genuinely believe Morocco is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, filled with incredible landscapes, rich culture, amazing food, and some of the warmest, most welcoming people you'll ever meet! To help make your trip as smooth as possible, we've put together a few tips and practical things to know before you arrive. Don't worry too much, Moroccans are known for their hospitality, and if you ever get lost, confused, or need help, chances are someone will happily point you in the right direction.

Moroccans are incredibly warm and hospitable. We love talking to people, helping visitors, sharing food, and making everyone feel at home. That being said, Marrakech is also one of the most visited cities in the world, and sometimes the combination of Moroccan hospitality and a little bit of Marrakech energy can feel... intense. Street vendors, restaurant hosts, and shopkeepers might enthusiastically invite you in, and if it ever becomes a bit much, don't hesitate to politely say "La, choukran" ("No, thank you") and keep walking.

Your plane ticket, hotel booking, and willingness to spend a long weekend with us in Marrakech is already a gift in itself.Having all our favorite people in one place is honestly all we could ask for.
